Although small in size, the sparkles from this piece of tree green Prehnite are incredible. A great size to carry, to keep by your bedside or perhaps jewellery making.
Prehnite was first discovered in South Africa by Colonel Hendrik Von Prehn, which is how Prehnite derived it’s name.
The colours of Prehnite vary, ranging from yellow, light green to blue, pink and white. The lustre of Prehnite also vary from vitreous (glassy), pearly to almost wax like.
